Mic Problem

KiongSS

Hey guys my mic suddenly stopped working out of the blue 2 days ago it was a Razer Kraken essential first i tried to see if it was plugged in ( it was), if it was detected (it was) but still no input and then i re installed my audio drivers, didnt worked, and i saw some people suggest looking at the Realtek Audio Console which i was going to do but it couldnt connect to RPC and tried the Realtek Audio Manager but thats nowhere to be found on my pc. So i bought a new headset a Cloud 2 thought it was gonna solved it BUT NOOOO its still there the only mic thats not working is the headset mic, my webcam mic is fine and dandy. any ideas to fix this issue?

Where is it plugged in?

If it's in the front panel have you tried the back panel, or vice versa.

Best idea is to look up your motherboard on the manufacturer's website.

There you'll find the downloads you need.

So you hear audio but the mic isn't working? Go to sounds/recording devices and screenshot what you see there.
