I was doing a new build, got everything in fine then I push the power button and everything starts then stops immediately. The cpu and gpu fan spin I can see the mobo has power. Its fresh new thermal paste too. I did replug everything  in then out. It is windows 10 64.

I just tried redoing the cpu and now I got 2 bursts Of air from the fans one light the other is a lil louder

Check if all power cables are properly connected. Also try removing the graphics card and hook up the monitor to the motherboard instead. See what happens. If the issue still occurs, I would try a different PSU. If that doesn't solve it it is quite possible the motherboard is dead.
