Hello, I'm trying to upgrade my pc I recently upgraded my graphics card and now I’m planning on upgrading my cpu. Recently I’ve been getting really low FPS in cod warzone, I get like 45 FPS average at lowest settings but now it started to stutter a lot almost unplayable. Other games like rust I get above  50 fps with high settings. What should I upgrade to get around 100 fps in games like warzone?

I’ve been looking for parts on Amazon and I found these parts: Intel core i7 9700, mother board MSI Z390-A PRO and for ram Corsair vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8Gb) DDR4 DRAM. I have to do some extra upgrades since the motherboard doesn’t support ddr3. I’m not sure what should I do, should I just buy these part or is there’s a better alternative. Please let me know what you guys think.

Thanks.

The lack of HT with the 9700k will cause inconsistent performance in warzone. I'd look for a CPU with HT. Preferably a Zen 3 CPU/10th gen intel, but they aren't really in stock currently

The Ryzen 5 3600 is a decent option currently, there arent many good B460 boards in stock for a 10400F

PCPartPicker Part List
Type Item Price
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor $267.43 @ Vuugo
Motherboard ASRock B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $114.99 @ Newegg Canada
Memory Team T-FORCE DARK Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory $94.99 @ Amazon Canada
Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts
  Total $477.41

Thanks for the recommendation. I’m going to order the Ryzen 5 3600 and the  Asrock B450M PRO4. Hopefully it’s worth it

if you are willing to spend a bit more you could also add a B550 board
