amd gpu glitches

So i got a brand new system with a xfx rx 580 8gb model. Its been solid for the games i play but i run into random black screens. My pcs fans still run, with rgb and the gpu fans still run but no signal on the display. Sometimes this doesnt happen during games. I do use a hdmi to vga adapter though, could that be an issue?

pressing the reset button reboots the pc with no issues.

Specs:

i5 9600k

8gb 2400mhz corsair ram

asus h310 plus r2.0

rx 580 8gb

corsair 550watt

I think it might be the drivers but im not sure. Help appreciated

Try to ddu the drivers and reinstall with the newest recomended version. If that doesn't work, get a new adaptor.
