Loud clicking from CPU area?

I know very little about PCs but this noise has recently starting happening and the PC runs very slow. I don't want to have it on as this doesn't sound good. Someone suggested adding thermal paste which I have done but of anything it made it worse. Anyone have any ideas?

Press your finger on the fans nearest and stop them and see if it continues. If it does, then I think you're AIO may be going bad and in need of replacement.

then it seems like your AIO is likely dying. I would replace it immediately.
