This is a build I have been planning, parts have been changed around a lot, and I think I'm finally happy with it. What do you guys think? It's for gaming, but I also record/edit/render a lot of PC footage. If possible I would like to overclock this build.

Please let me know if everything is compatable - at the last moment, I have changed my CPU from intel to AMD, (I also changed my mobo). As much advice as possible please.

Looks good by my unprofessional eye. Although I think intel is better when editing and rendering.

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.

I would go with an intel i5-4670k, and also only get 8GB of RAM.  Get the least expensive 1600Mhz, 9-9-9-24 RAM you can find.  Also, if you can find some way to get some extra cash, you will be so much happier with a GTX 780.

That's what i was thinking, for gaming 8gb is plenty and the money from that can be put towards a better GPU. Also i would go intel.

8320 beats the i5 when it comes to editing. Also Z87 motherboards are alot more expensive. That would be an extra 60 for the CPU and an extra 20 for the motherboard. (cheapest Z87)

why? what does the 970 chipset give me?

The 760g boards aren't really designed to handle the FX processors esp. the 8xxx line, if you are overclocking, 970 and 990FX will also give you more overclocking potential and stability esp. 990FX boards.

There are no mATX 970 and 990FX boards, so mATX is not an option if you want a smaller form factor build.

There no other AMD Processor that go in a AM3 /AM3+ motherboard.

wat do you mean? arent the am3 and am3+ only for amd CPUs?

All the CPU's (almost. There are like 3 Athlons that go in AM3)  that go in AM3/ AM3+ motherboards are FX Series. That is why what he said makes very few sense.

Can you clarify your statement? I can't seem to understand it, sorry about that.

What i meant is that there are no other CPU's (except for 3 Athlons.) that go into an AM3 or an AM3+ motherboard that are not part of the FX Series.

Oh ok, I see what you mean.

What I was trying to say was that 760G boards aren't designed for OC'ing because they're just budget friendly boards and were released even before the FX lineup was released, but you know, same socket = good enough, I believe.
