Steam store down?

Ok, so i was right in the middle of buying a game, and then... connection problems. I thought it was our end then I noticed other sites were working. So i check it out on here:http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/store.steampowered.com and it says that steam truly is down. Can anyone else confirm this, and has this happened before to anyone?

I can go to store.steampowered.com, but when i try to do something secure(login, checkout, etc) it just won't work.
