Temperature Guide

Hello everyone. 

 

First post, I'm hoping I could get some advice and guidance on whether my CPU is running at a 'optimal temperature' I have a Intel Core I5 8600k with a Corsair H100I Pro AIO Cooler.

 

I have not ran a benchmark test but have Launched 2 games and played 10 - 15 minute of each to heat up and left for 10 minutes to cool down to idle temp (between 29-31). I have attached two screen shots of both games temperatures for comparison. 

 

Any point in the right direction is greatly appreciated. 

 

EDIT - Top picture is running CSGO, bottom is running GTA V.

not sure what the question is exactly. if your asking if they are good temps, they are very good imo. max temp for 8600k iirc is like 105c(not good). anything under 85 underload is OK, anything 75c and under is good*.

There's no such thing as "optimal" temp. PC hardware doesn't change its performance based on certain temps. Exception being overheating and thermal throttling, but even then its not question about optimal temps, but max usable temps. Intels own target for their stock coolers is 75C under normal loads (= not under stress test).

 

You have good and normal temps.
