I have been using a loogitech m185, and it has been working fine for a good few years. However, recently I have had issues with it jumping or "sticking", where moving the mouse does not move the curser, then a split second later, it is fine. It might be batteries, but I replaced them and the issue persists. when looking at my mousepad (one with a picture of me when I was younger) when I moove over my top, it "sticks". I tried without a mousepad on my deks, and it still happens. I cleaned the lens, and it still happens. Tried different USB ports, and it still happens. I DON'T know what is going on. I play PvP MC with friends and it is very annoying. Anny suggestions. I have been looking to a new mouse, (logitech g305 or g203 the main issue is that I want it wireless), and if you think I should go for it, I may get a new one

could be that one can replace a part inside the mouse to make it work again, unsure if it's like you say the sensor.

or rather the thing between the sensor and usb? not sure. Since the mouse move fine from time to time, I guess it does work? Power delivery if using batteries or if wireless a bad wireless signal?

A new basic mouse isn't too expensive

Yea, but I want something a bit better than budget, and preferably logitech as they are quite reputible. I also want one that is wireless, to help cable management and cable length. I might change mousepad or something for now, then get a new mouse when I can

Would you recommend a logitech g305 as a mouse. It looks like what I need, and on amazon it is cheaper than usual right now. I want a wireless one for sure
