So I've been looking for an AIO to cool my cpu, because I have an older CPU, the Ryzen 7 1700, an I want to overclock it a little more. However, all the more popular AIO's are expensive, like the Kraken X53, which is nice looking and something I was looking at. However, I stumbled across the ML420L V2 from coolermaster, and I'm wondering if it's any good. If you have any other suggestions for cheaper liquid coolers, please tell me. Thanks!

 

Also I don't really like RGB, but if it's there then sure. My budget is around under 100 USD.

You should go with a cheap air cooler. I had the ML240R, which is definitely better quality and reliability than the 240L, and mine was still junk. Made lots of gurgling noises, and within 6mo my pump shit the bed.

 

If you're not willing to drop some extra money on water, go with air 10/10 times.
