From left to right:

12V -> Molex Right pin (Yellow)

F - Ground, 3rd pin (Molex)

GND - GND (DRGB Connector 3pin)

IN - Data (D, DRGB Connector 3pin)

5V - 5V (V, DRGB Connector 3pin)

Hello,

This topic has already been discussed, but I did not find an answer.
I have 3 120mm fans and a hub. The hub is dead.

Pinout of hub (and fans): 12V, F, GND, IN, 5V, OUT

My MB: GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS PRO WiFi

I found this in another forum:

Quote

the 6 pins are as follows: 12v, ground, tachometer, data, another ground , and 5v. You seperate the 12v and ground, hook them up as a 2pin molex. Then you remove the tachometer, giving you 5v, data and ground , which just happens to be argb. Itll be a 4 pin with 3 pins, separated. Put it into the rainbow connector. You end up with a 6 pin fan connected to jrainbow with no need for a controller... minus tachometer.

His pinout doesn't much with mine.

The question is, What are my options?

Thank you guys!

6 pin says ridiculous proprietary garbage to me.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

I agree, but each RGB fan has 2 separate connectors, here just two in one.

So, looks like the first 2: 12V and Ground (F) - I need to connect it to Molex.

Last 4: 5V, GND, Data IN = A-RGB? Data out is tachometer? What is it?

Thanks.

Just connected it. Works as expected. Described in my previous post.
