I recently upgraded to an MSI B450i Gaming Plus AC From an MSI Z97i AC. I can no longer use one of my hard drives.
I had plugged into the old PC;
1 Crucial CT250BX100SSD1 (256GB SSD) Boot drive
1 Seagate Barracuda ST2000LM003 (5400rpm  2TB HDD) Storage
1 Seagate Barracuda ST2000LM015 (Same but newer version)

After upgrading it booted up correctly the first time but no longer recoignises the ST2000LM003 in the bios. I was expecting a failed hard drive so i bought a replacement of the same model ready to do a PCB swap but the same thing happens with this drive.

I tried 5 different SATA cables in all available ports and could not get it to recoignise either drive, including removing the other drives and using their connectors. I tried with both UEFI and CSM options in the bios but it had no effect. I also tried using an external power supply to the drives which worked with my other drives but not these. I did a CMOS reset at some point after testing the first drive but before the new drive arrived.

Surprisingly, I connected the drives to my old motherboard and they display in BIOS correctly.

Is there a no longer supported feature on these motherboards? Is there a setting I am missing?
