How do I reinstall settings

I am having issues with setting stuff like sub-windows not opining and some setting acting all messed up

I don't have any backup drives so I cant reinstall windows i just need to find out how to reinstall the settings app

If you're referring to explorer, just go to Tools/Folder Options and set to 'open each folder in its own window'. If something else, it's easier if you specify.

no i am talking about the settings app

I fixed all my problems by installing windows 10 on a vm and copping over all windows files from that
