Hi Guys!

just upgraded my pc and no longer have the option of selecting 240hz for my monitor via nvidia control panel or directly through windows. The highest i can go is 144hz, i’ve tried the different DP ports on my card as well.

my monitor was able to give me the 240hz option on my old setup using the same monitor - Acer Predator XB272

old setup

i7-7700

GTX 1080ti

new setup

i9-10900k

RTX 3080

any help would be appreciated 🙂

Do you maybe have to re-enable overclocking in your monitor OSD?

Some OSD also allow you to change the DisplayPort version. See if 1.4 is checked.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
