Hi All,

Long time lurker new member seeking some help!

Unfortunately my Ryzen 3900X is running very hot (95 degrees celsius) during Warzone and around 55-60 at idle. I only noticed this over the weekend when the PC black screened due to overheating and I took a look at Ryzen Master.

I have checked the fans/contact and they appear to be fine and generally the PC is kept in good condition away from dust and in a fairly cool room.

Specs are:

Case: Coolmaster Masterbox TD500 with 3 x Fans at the front

GPU: ZoTac 2080 TI

Mobo: ASUS TUF X570-Plus

CPU: Ryzen 3900X

RAM: Corsair

Cooling: Frostflow 240mm AIO

PSU: Corsair CV650

From reading around I suspect it may be to do with the CPU setup, however, this is something along with BIOS I’ve never delved into.

Thank you in advance!

This is quite a bit too high. You might want to go into the bios and make sure the pump isn't dead, and that the fans are spinning at normal rpms. After that, I'd make sure the cpu is mounted right, that you took off the plastic/cover on the coldplate, had enough thermal paste, and had enough mounting pressure on the cpu.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.
