Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: light gaming and programming

i am trying to test my new pc parts and  do not have a case yet. i know i should bridge the power headers but do not know which ones they are and my motherboard's manual isnt helping.

i have a B450M-K motherboard, running a ryzen 3 3200g, 8gb DDR4 3000mhz. 

does anyone have an idea or know where i can find such info?

Look at page 10-12 and see which one match with your mobo

Just bridge 2 pins at a time, until it starts. Yeah you bridge it with any metal object.

Just touch it and it will turn on.

thank you, i see you are using a corsair power supply, i just ordered a CV450 bronze, would you say their PSUs are reliable?

Yes they are .CV450 gonna be fine for your specs.

would you say its safe to install windows and stuff while the motherboard is outside the case, on its box? i do not have a case yet but want to install windows 10 and drivers  and stuff

Yeah why not? There's no difference in or out.
