PC Won't Boot

Go to solution Solved by Oddesy693,

I'm using a MSI x570 Gaming Edge wifi with a Ryzen 9 5900x and Rtx 3080. I keep on getting the debugger LED saying its the CPU. I've tried changing the ram, making sure everything is plugged, resetting it, and i've tried flashing the BIOS but idk if it actually flashed it. Any suggestions are helpful. I really don't want to reseat the CPU because i'd have to clean it and the AIO then go buy thermal paste from the store. Also I have a 850 Watt PSU but i believe that should be enough for my system. EDIT: Got it to work by using a USB 2.0 flashdrive to flash the Bios!

Figuring this out would be a really, really good starting point.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

When I press the flash bios button a Red LED by the IO shield lights up for a few seconds then turns off but after waiting for a few minutes nothing happens. So idk if it flashed or not and don't know how to check either.

Check motherboard manual for details on BIOS indicator, it'll be available online

Did you follow the steps IN THE MANUAL on how to properly USE the 'Flash BIOS' feature?

There is a SPECIFIC USB port to use.

You need to EXTRACT the zipped file, rename the BIOS file to MSI.ROM, and JUST put the ROM file on the USB stick.

Don't put the file into a folder. Just straight copy-paste into the empty USB drive.
