Yep, it's a very nice card for 1080p gaming. However you need to realize you won't be getting super high FPS (120+) in every game out there, but even newer AAA games will run smoothly with adjusted settings (RTX off and such) , just not at 120+ FPS @AbishekMenon.

 

Just search for some YouTube benchmarks of the RTX 2070 and that should give you some idea about what to expect.

Pretty much any esports title will plow through 144fps but yes, some games won't run maxed. Consider a 2070 super if available, usually similar price but clocked higher
