OBS Settings

What whould be the best OBS setting on this configuration : CPU- Ryzen 7 3700x

                                                                                               GPU- Radeon 5600XT

At the moment i only want to record videos, but some advice for streaming would also be great. I want to mention that for some reason the HEVC encoder is not working as properly, the videos are having missing frames( maybe i didn't set up it correctly)

you could try x264, but that puts some load on your CPU so your game performance might drop a bit if that's what you're recording

you have an 8-core so it's not TOO bad

 

not too familiar with AMD GPU to comment on the encoder on it, maybe others will have better insight.

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

i just run with the standard 1080p stuff and avoid gpu encoder because it tanks my fps from 100+ to 15-25.

i use a 2700x so  you should be good to go

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.
