Hey, I decided to build a new PC and opt for:

Motherboard: 1) ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming

OR 2) Gigabyte X570 AORUS ULTRA ATX

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800x

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER OC 6G (6 GB GDDR6/PCI Express 3.0/1860 MHz/14000 MHz)

RAM: G.Skill Tident Z NEO 32GB DDR4 32Gtzn 3200 CL16 (2x16GB)

Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

currently i dont plan to overclock CPU or sth in that regards. My only real question right now is that which of those two mentioned motherboards is "better" and more "future proof" in your opinion? the price is the same. Im especially asking because im confused by the ASUS motherboard RAM speed. Mothrboard default is 2666 Hz or something.i guess it will be automatically tuned to 3200 Hz via BIOS/UEFI, maybe somebody can clarify this.

specs seem almost identical, anybody has experience with one or maybe both of them?

Thanks in Advance

You are like beyond overspending on a motherboard here. A decent b550 board is gonna do exactly the same thing you want for a lot less and it's not gonna be less "future proof"

As for ram get 3600mhz best for ryzen all boards from amd support it just turn on xmp for it to work.

These boards aren't really better just more expensive for what you are going to do and the money you save on it you can get a better gpu as I assume this is a gaming rig and well the 32gb of ram and board are beyond overkill and you ended up getting a rather weak gpu because of wrong budget allocation

Im mainly working with the PC and require high RAM, at the moment the GPU is good enough for my needs but i will upgrade it within the next 1-2 years.

Well point still stands both boards are well beyond what you need. Save some money on it and get a 3600mhz ram kit. Get a board like the msi b550 a pro or something you won't notice a difference. Like at most get the b550 tomahawk. That thing outclasses many x570 boards in terms of quality too. Still won't notice a difference between any of em.
