1. How come a 3600? A 10400f should be better bang-for-buck

2. LPX ram, and it seems a little overpriced

3. uhh what's that GPU? isn't this supposed to be for gaming?

4. It's in euros?

Did you just make this list for them because you think that they're not being specific enough? I'm just whaa...

3600 is better long term.

Yeah just change a cheaper ram, no problem

3. uhh what's that GPU? isn't this supposed to be for gaming?

GPU prices are expensive right now, that gpu is enough for now. Yes, it's a gaming gpu,  i use to game with that GPU.

Wait can you explain to me how the 3600 is supposed to be better "long term?" And why you wouldn't just reccomend waiting for a better time to buy gpus?

I think using a AM4 system is better for long term, as you are not limited to the core of the cpu.
You can upgrade to 5950x if you want to. Motherboard is OCable and have more features.
He can also wait to buy a GPU, which who knows when, but it seems that he need it now.

You are welcome to suggest a solution for him if you have a better solution.

Well I mean you can argue the same for intel. you could go for a 10900k or a 11900k. AM4 is just as close to being a dead platform as lga 1200. And let's be honest, OP isn't going to be doing any reasonable oc with that motherboard and cooler, even if the 3600 was a good CPU to oc on in the first place

and 10 cores down to 8? Yes it's as dead as lga 1200, but it can still be useful when 16 cores cpu become mainstream in the future.

I'm not in a terrible hurry. This is just a preliminary inquiry. So it's a horrible time to buy a gpu? OC Is not important. And what about the cpu?

It's a fine time to buy most components besides the GPU. Some components, such as AMD vermeer CPUS (5000 series) aren't in stock right now and are looking just as bad as the GPUs.
