Posted February 6, 2021 My headset has 3 rings, that means it has microphone capabilities. However the front panel i/o of my workstation has one input for microphone and another one for audio output. If I put it into the microphone, then the audio output doesn't work and vise versa. I was wondering if there is a splitter that I could plug in my headset into that branches into two plugs for my workstation. Posted February 6, 2021 Solution You do not need a splitter. You need a Headset Adapter. https://www.amazon.com/MillSO-3-5mm-Jack-Adapter-CTIA/dp/B071NDLCGC/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=headset+adapter&qid=1612625690&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&smid=A1VJX9TVQ0U51X&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzR0xZQlI2VERaNjlWJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDE3MDM0TzFJUVBVMjJRRTFLJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAyMjExMzQzOFdPS0VPTFVLNDdHJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ== PC Build in LTT Gallery - JBL J88 - Fostex T50RP (Modded) - Pioneer SE-A1000 vs audio-technica ATH-AD500X - Skullcandy Aviator audio-technica ATH-T400 - CHC Silverado and Laredo - Clip-On Headphone Roundup - Sony LinkBuds Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/1303038-audio-splitter/#findComment-14461127 Share on other sites
