Problem with ram

Go to solution Solved by WhitetailAni,

Because it's DDR(4) RAM, in hardware monitor programs it will read at half its speed.

If you multiply 1800 by 2, you get 3600.

There is no problem.

I have 2 sets of Corsair Vengeances RGB Pro 16GB 3600mhz ( total 4 sticks that adds up to 32 GB). I have A-XMP turned on in my bios and the bios says my sticks are running at 3600. When I check task manager and CPU-Z they both say my ram is running at 1800 mhz. I'm not really sure what is wrong and I would appreciate some help on this.

My specs :

Ryzen 3900x
MSI X570 GAMING PLUS
32 GB 3600mhz DDR4 RAM

MSI VENTUS RTX 3070

Welcome to the forums!!!

DDR means Double Data Rate, so as @ragnarok0273 said, multiply 1800 by 2 to get 3600.

Just to show you on my system, its the same and is working as intended.
