New PC questions

attached is my new PC build. I had a few questions.

 

1. is the Power supply good enough for the build?

2. I have a 240hz monitor right now 1080p. IS it better to go to 1440p or to a 360hz monitor for games like Valorant,csgo, cod, etc...

your PSU should be just fine, and your 240Hz 1080p should be great for all your needs tbh

If I were to upgrade would you say the 360hz or a 1440p monitor would be a better more noticeable upgrade

360Hz defnitely not, 1440p yeah I guess it would have a noticeable difference but you lose frames

Why are you buying a 9900K in 2021? that thing is from 2018!

 

Get yourself a 10850K with a Z490 MOBO, And the RTX 3090 is pointless, the 3080 is enough to drive even upto 1440P 144Hz AAA, 1440P 240Hz eSports. And the PSU should suffice.

So I got a the 9900k for 300 and people told me that its a great deal and will be fine for what I need.

if you got it already for $300 it's awesome, but right now it is going for $390-$420

yeah micro center I got it for 299,99 i9 9900k I was very happy with price and for what I need it works perfectly and won't bottleneck the 3090.

but do you really need a 3090? probably not, you wouldn't realize the difference in most cases today, maybe someday some new game will use more than the 10GB VRAM, but I would highly suggest you wait for the 3080Ti really.

I already got ahold of the 3090 tbh I was waiting for 3080 but this came first so I just went with it to be honest

if you have already gotten hold of just any card, use it!, TBH the situation sucks right now, even a 2060 at retail price is value right now!

lol exactly, that's main reason ill use 3090 cuz I physically have it. Its crazy, I put my current 2080 super on eBay, for a used card the bids were insane!
