Ok so I've put it all together the Ryzen 3 3200g cpu the motherboard and ram all looks like I've done it right. I've got a 250gb 2.5" hdd with windows 10 already installed. The reseller of the board said I wouldn't need the BIOS update. But so far I can't get any display. Pc starts and stays on everything else eg; rgb and fans, seem to work. Any advice? I've tried one stick of ram tried plugging the hdd into different sata ports still nada..

what's the model?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Are you sure the display works?

Most definitely, its my usual gaming monitor.  Im curious though, im not using a Graphics card yet only relying on the built in cpu graphics, maybe Ive missed a step somewhere?

So, I installed my cpu and cooler. Then my RAM. as per instructions in the manual using A2 and B2 slots. Ive mounted the board in my MSI Mag 100R case and attached the fan leads, usb 3.0, and the psu. Ive plugged in my 2.5" 250gb seagate HDD and changed the rear fan to an up and out position directly above the cpu cooler.. Mostly to help draw any heat away from the cpu but to also open up the rgb for display. (Funny I wasnt worried about the rgb until I seen it with the fan in stock position. Just gross. haha) Anyways, Pc lights up mother board lights up fans all spinning nice and quiet. Like Id expected to look over and see it light up on the monitor.. Now heres the curious bit. The HDD is out of an intel based pc.. Windows 10 pro 64 bit. will this matter to booting up on the Ryzen cpu?

so only real fix is to find another gpu to get signal to the monitor then open up bios and update it all?

not update, but check if the settings for the internal gpu are enabled not disabled. If you can't find a gpu do a Cmos reset might do the trick
