Plasma TV problem

Plasmas have that fuzz going on all the time even when working properly. Have you tried swapping signal cable? Seems like either you are getting loads of noise and/or you need to replace a capacitor. When disassembled, look for bulged top capacitors. It's supposed to be flat.

Ya, you voided the warranty.

 

Nothing I can see from this side.

 

Capacitors have also been known to blow downwards, you'll never get video of that.

 

Best to talk to the manufacturer, or a repair tech.
