NH-D15S chromax.black third party fans

Hello world,

I have recently gotten a NH-D15S chromax.black and I wanted to ask if it was possible to mount (say for example SP120s or LL120s from Corsair or just basically any standard 120/140 fans). What would it require?

I’ve never had too much trouble fitting other fans to my NH-D15. Some fans depending on the thickness of the housing or shape, went on a bit harder or I had to bend the mounting brackets slightly. I haven’t used those Corsair fans. But I’ve never not been able to get a fan to work.

I put my Thermalright TY-141 on. The clips were a pain, but it fit. Great fans.

so u sayin that the stock noctua brackets fir regular 120s?

Mostly yes.  The NF-A15 fans that come on the cooler are unique in their shape.  They are roughly a 140mm fan with 120mm mounting holes.  So, other 120mm fans usually fit too.  I've made everything fit, sometimes it just takes a bit of force and you might have to slightly bend the bracket.  Others fit very easy, but would fall off if you bumped it too hard.  But, I never had a fan that just didn't work.
