Dell G3 ISsues

     I have a Dell G3 3779 gaming laptop that has a power issue.  It will blue screen booting into windows everytime while plugged into its charger.  NEW chargers have been tried of the same wattage and it does it.  But if you run it off battery, it works fine.  The battery will charge as long as windows is not running, or while it is off.  It will blue screen even while booting off a Windows 10 install usb.  In bios, it states that its plugged in and charging the battery.  In my 25 years of repairing computers, I have never seen this kind of failure.  I have been searching online for a possible repair, or potential bad chip on the motherboard that I could replace but no luck so far.  A replacement motherboard for this is OVER $500 considering that it has an 9th gen i7 and a 1050 ti Nvidia card.  Anyone have any ideas on this?  Would LOVE to fix this!!!
