upgrading old workstation

I found this old workstation, is it worth upgrading for a somewhat decent price?

CPU: intel core i5 2300

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTS450

Motherboard: MS-7707

RAM: 4GB, dualchanneled RAM @ 665MHz

2TB hdd storage

Was thinking 'bout upgrading the RAM, GPU and an SSD. It doesn't need to be a top of the range pc, but planning on playing simple games(csgo, minecraft, fortnite,...)

Or does this sound as something stupid to do?

I would guess the PC would play eSport games, maybe just a bit better of a gpu. Something like a GTX 1030, 1050, maybe an rx560, 570, 580. Basically if you can grab a $100 gpu or less.   Maybe 8GB of Ram from eBay. A cheap ssd, and maybe a $50 PSU if it needs it. 
 

ozTalksHW YouTube channel does builds like this all the time. Might get some useful info there.
