Dying GPU

r0b0f0r0ce

I was just playing Apex for like an hour and the game kept crashing and frame dropping so aggressively, so I just closed it and tried to restart my computer.. it did restart but no posting .. and then I tried again and again and it posted at the 5th time.
the problem is that I have flash backs of this same scenario that happened to me last year around this time. the only difference is that last year it crashed by itself and it wasn't me who restarted and it never posted after that. (I sent it back to asus and they sent a replacement under warranty .. also I'm running the one asus sent back)
I have a strong feeling the next time I'm pressing that turn off button Its not gonna turn on again. is there a way I can save it ? may be install newer gpu drivers or something like that ?
there is a gpu driver available but im too scared to install until I get some info.

My specs are

Mother board : Asus Prime B350-Plus

GPU Asus Geforce GTX 1050 Ti

CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 1600

PSU : Corsair VS 450, 450 WATT

RAM : Corsair Vengeance LPX 2×8GB 3000MHz
