El cheapo not too cheapo build

Borgus Bohr

Budget (including currency): 500$ CAD or 400$ USD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Normal stuff

I am planning to do a small build for my parents. They are almost 60 years old and will be using the computer for light stuff (Web browsing and the occasional Zoom meating). I wanna make one simple, fast enough and quiet pc.

Just wanna make sure that my parts make sense and I don't run into weird compatibility problems.

Intel i3-10100 (with intel graphics)

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Asus PRO h410M-C/CSM (Micro ATX)

be quiet! U9 400w

GSkill Aegis 8gb (2x4) 2400mhz C15 DDR4

I already have an SSD and Case

Thanks!!

It should be ok and more than enough i think. In terms of compatibility i don't think there are any issues i am aware of, but just to be safe I would buy ram that is checked by the motherboard vendor that says it is compatible with the mobo and finally i would suggest spending 20-30$ more for 16gb of ram
