Please help asap

YeetAnxiety

I got my first PC about a year ago, and about 2 months ago it started randomly turning off the monitor and ramping the fan up to full power, unlike almost everyone on these forums I'm not very techsavvy and I don't know how to apply thermalpaste and such, so is there anything I can do to fix this? it has started becoming more common day by day and even today it's happened 5 times. Please someone give me a solution that doesn't involve possibly breaking my computer trying to fix it.

Components: Gtx 1060 ti, intel i7 (gen 3), 8gb of ram, 1tb HDD.

Have you noticed any artifacting on the screen if so it could be a graphics problem other than that I would honestly just chek if your heatsink is properly on there by just giving it a little wiggle and pushing the tabs (put desktop on side mobo up). If it is a heat issue buy some thermal compund and a can of compressed air to blow dust out of your computer. You can find plenty of build guides and even full videos on applying thermal compound. Hope this helped.
