After using my $2600 macbook pro for around 3 months. I sorta want to go back to PC. So this is what I've come to.

Can you guys help me improve it?
I might overclock, I might go SLI in the future, you can do AMD, I want to keep windows and a Optical Drive, and this is for gaming, art, 3D renders, and animating.

What kind of projects are you working on? Are you working in the field, just studying, or something else? What programs are being used? Types of games being played?

core i7 for multitheading goodness, since you do art and 3d work

More ram.. atleast TWO sticks.  16GB with the scope to go up to 32

3TB HDDs dont cost much more.

Get a SSD boot drive, and Cheapo 60Gb as a scratch Drive for your graphics applications.

ignore the CPU Cooler til u actually start OC-ing

60GB isn't really enough for both the programs and scratchdisk.

I play stuff like MInecraft, Battlefield 4, Counterstrike Global Offense, and League of Legends. I use photoshop and Cinema 4D.

I render 3D pictures in C4D using rigs and in PS, I make YT art.
