Antlion mod mic

Looking at buying a mod mic. Which one would you all suggest? Looking at the one with the 3.5mm jack and the other thats USB. Is there a major difference? 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

If I installed that on my monitor on the left do you think Id have an issue?

If so I think I might go for the USB mod mic, Just concerned over some of the reviews. Seems some issues with wiring and the mute button.
