Computer freezes while gaming.

My computer keeps freezing while gaming...

For the past couple of days, while I'm gaming, my computer freezes. I am still able to move my mouse around but when I click on things or hover over anything, nothing happens. I can still hear the audio fine after this freeze. Discord, YouTube, the game I'm playing still sound fine. The keyboard also works. This has happened multiple times in one night/gaming session and its infuriating. I've done a bit of googling and the only thing I could find that really makes sense is a GPU issue. Recently I've been using my 2070 Super for Bitcoin mining using Nicehash Miner. But why would that cause an issue? I never let it get too hot, 70C max ever. Any ideas?

New windows? Try downgrading to 1903 or 1909 and disable the auto update.

I completely solve the same problem by doing this.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

I've had my computer for almost 2 years now. Have not had a problem like this ever. It just started one day. Also, auto update is off. I'll try downgrading tho.

At first, I tried uninstalling the windows security update, but that did not work. I then tried to uninstall the actual windows update. But that didn't work either.

Maybe the gpu slot is beginning to wear out, not because they are supposed to but it might have gotten mishandled at some point and the slot got damaged
