Issue with my Microphone.

I recently purchased a Razer Blackshark V2 X Headset, when it arrived the speakers work perfectly but the microphone sounded like I was far away and there as also lots of background noise.

After testing the port with another microphone I confirmed that it wasn't an issue with the aux port, next I tried a different audio splitter cable, which also changed nothing.

I then assumed that the Mic on the headset was broken and ordered a replacement, that has just come and It has the same issue!

I only just now tested the microphone on my phone and found out that it works perfectly on it.

I'm now stuck with a working headset where I can't use the microphone on my computer, does anyone have anything I can try as use on my pc is the only thing I need the Headset for!
