I’ve been trying to boot my new pc for about 3-4 hours now trying to troubleshooting with different methods that seemed to work for others but it doesn’t with me, I keep booting and it gives me the error code b4 - d6 - 02 - 51 then retrying with the vga light on, I’ve asked my it friend to see if there was anything I can do and he couldn’t think of anything, is there a easy thing I can do or would I need to get a new mb

i also can’t boot into bios since it doesn’t display anything so I can’t switch any settings

You likely need a BIOS update on the board for it to work with a 5000 series CPU. You do have Q-Flash available so you should be able to update it utilizing that feature. It should be explained in your motherboard manual on how to properly do this.

The problem is that I did the q flash thing with the f10 and f11 and it didn’t work but I didn’t try updating the bios, even though I can’t boot into them either way it could work

What PSU do you have?

Is your GPU on a riser cable or straight into the motherboard slot?

Remove the gpu from the riser and plug it directly into your motherboard and test.

50-53 = Memory initialization error. Invalid memory type or incompatible memory speed.

Is 51 the code it gets stuck on? If so start diag here.

Be sure memory is in correct slots.

Or try 1 stick in the first slot.

Also can try a motherboard speaker.

But it looks like you are just listing the codes it self checks through.....

Post and beep codes in my sig or look in Colonel Mortis's thread which is stickied with tons of useful information.

I'm with Skiiwee29, probably need a 3000 series cpu to update the bios If qflash doesnt work.

Good luck!

The ram isn’t the problem, I’ve tried a different stick and every one in each slot and it still gave me the 51 error, and the other codes are just what keep popping up after 15 stops showing
