Power switch issues(?)

I’m putting together a computer for my brother for vr, and I have everything together but the problem is that when I press the power switch nothing happens, the front and rear USB work, but the fans don’t spin up and nothing appears on screen

 

parts:

NZXT h510 (refurbished)

evga 450gm

asrock b450m pro4

asus TUF 1660 super

ryzen 5 2600x

Samsung 860 evo 1TB

g.skull ripjaws 3200Mhz

Remove the front panel power connector from the motherboard and try starting up the PC with a screwdriver, by shorting those two pins together.
