Hi there,

I've just set up a new build with a Ryzen 7 5800X and a GeForce RTX 3080.

The case is a Fractal Design Focus G Mini with a Cooler Master Ma620p for the CPU cooler.

The case comes with 2 built in fans at the front, and the CPU cooler has two fans with the heatsink.

Contemplating removing one of the fans from the heat sink and to suck hot air out the back of the case. Would this be a beneficial move? Currently the two front fans are intake, and the fans on the heatsink are both set to intake and blow towards the back of the machine. However, there's nothing really blowing GPU hot air out of the case.

I suck with air flow stuff!

Thanks

I would not take a fan of the heatsink. If you want more outtake, turn one of the 2 intake case fans around. But do not take one of your heatsink. I do not know this case very well, but if you have the space, spend the extra 15$ and get a good outtake fan.

But now, fellow gamers, that was it for me. Please keep in mind, that this is just my personal opionion and I am no expert. Your system shall be cooled forever, see you next time.
