Hutterdude

Are the Samsung galaxy buds+ the go to true wireless earbuds to go under $200?

Those, Jabra 75t's, or 1000XM3's (but they're quite large and the charging case is CHUNKY)

If you can ever afford it, and have an apple device- airpod pros are awesome

I don't think you'd be in a bad position going with any of them

x2 on the Jabra 75t's. Maybe the 85t's, though they're more expensive. They both have nice, compact cases as well which is a huge plus.

The Galaxy Buds Pro might be worth a hard look as well. I've read excellent first impressions.

I wish Apple offered their AirPods in other colors...instead of having to go to ColorWare and pay a $200 premium.

Might be worth moving this to audio 😉

1000XM3 owner here
The XM3s are good, but like, only if you are sitting in one spot or casually walking. Sweat, exercise, even just moving around too much can make them kind of uncomfortable in comparison to the Galaxy Buds+ (which I also owned) or the Airpod Pros.

Jabra is definitely reliable for all-around use, as are the AirPod Pros even if you only own an android device. If you aren't going to be exercising with them, XM3's sound amazing and have great noise cancelling (only marginally worse than the big brother over-the-ear cans) that's better than Jabra and the Pros

Hope this helps

I have a pair of Elite Active 75ts. They're fantastic. The only issue I have with them is the anc is mediocre, which is expected since it was a firmware update after release and they weren't designed for it. I don't use it since it doesn't do that much for me and uses more battery. I'd rather it didn't have it because you have to cycle through it with the button on the left bud; anc, off, hear through. So I have to push the button one extra time when I want to toggle the hear through on/off and I can't just push the button twice fast, I have to wait a second or two for the mode to kick in before I can push it again.
