Im planning on buying the Sennheiser Game Zero Headset. But i dont know if i need any sound card. My Motherboard is MSI A320M Pro-e.(realtek ALC887 sound chip) can i live some issues with that sound chip?

I've tried one of those chips, they can have major issues with interference.

Thats not a fair comment. As the DAC its self is perfectly acceptable has good specs. Any interference caused would be different on each motherboard and be totally dependent on design of the motherboard.

You can only say that comment fairly if you had that exact motherboard because a different model could have a different design for amplification or power which was introducing interference. Its also hugely dependent on power supply and other components like graphics cards.

Exactly. I made it a bit short. You can look at it from other angles but to be simple. I've heard interference with that chip on a good motherboard and the GPU wasn't even under load causing interference. I would say that the majority has issues with interference since motherboard manufacturers don't care about that very much.
