Hello, today i had very strange behaviour from my second GPU. I had my RX 580 in my old computer, which was running on AM3+ and 970 chipset. PC was working just fine, but the sata disks and most prob. Also pci was runing in legacy mode.

Then i just finished another build with i5-10400F. I wanted to reuse the GPU, so i puted it there, and debug diode got stucked on VGA. Nothing really helped, so i reached to my main PC for my RX Vega 64 and tried booting with that in the new build. Suddenly i got into uefi and i was wondering what i can change to make the RX 580 work in there. So i switched CSM into legacy (both PCI and Sata), changed gpus, and it started working. Then i got into uefi againg, and changed it back into uefi settings. It works from now on.

So my question is: Why is this happed ? Did the GPU stucked in legacy mode and needed instruction from new board to switch into UEFI? Was it luck or just some kind of magic ?

Thank you for any explanation

PS: My first post, so if i did something wrong, please correct me.

Hard to say, I'd vote for voodoo magic myself. But I am glad it's working
