I built my first non second hand Kijiji finds computer almost a year ago. Very excited for higher end equipment finally. The only demanding thing I really do on it is play COD Warzone. I have the settings turned up that my graphics card is working hard but other than that most other components are running at like 50% usage or less. Could easily play on one monitor and stream the NHL playoffs and message on Facebook chat on the other no problem.

Now starting like a month ago Warzone still runs great but as soon as I launch the game any other process on my computer can barely operate. I open task manager and all my components don't look like they are working any harder than before. But then I try and open an internet browser and I can barely type in the task bar (meanwhile warzone running great). Try to stream something on Twitch and it can't even keep up. (Which I used to do all the time)

I really don't understand what has changed. Windows is up to date. Drivers are up to date. Really not sure. I am technically competent but am far from an expert. Was wondering if there is anything else I should try before wiping my system and starting fresh. (Which I can do but was hoping not to)

System Specs:

Ryzen 7 2700x not overclocked

Asrock B450 Pro 4 mobo

Asus ROG Strix 1660ti not overclocked

Corsair Vengeance Ram 16gb 3200mhz

M.2 1tb SSD (can't remember the make and model but a nice one)
