PSU Weird static noise

My PSU is making this weird static noise that sounds like static coming from a radio. It doesn't happen everyday but it normally happens after I play or one time it happened upon plugging it in. I thought it was coil whine because disappeared when I activated hybrid mode. But then after after a few days it's back. Recently it was fine again. I'm suspecting it might be a capacitor  discharging because one time it was still there when I unplugged it. My PSU is a Seasonic Prime Titanium 850w. Should I RMA this unit? :(

If it happens when disconnecting as well, then it might indeed be a faulty capacitor in the power supply. You could *try* and repair it yourself, but if it's still under warranty, then I would definitely request an RMA.

coil wine is a squeal not really a static hiss, static hiss often happens when transformers or capacitors are arcing and the unit should be RMAed right away. Since it's an 80+titanium unit it's also possible the digital switching circuit board can be faulty which also required RMA.
