RX580 Won't post

Hey! So my buddy bought a older gaming pc its a predator g3-710 motherboard with a 7th gen i3-7100.

It was running a 1050ti with no issue and we put in a RX580 and nothing came on the screen. We have tested the card and it works perfect in my Build. We have also tested my card (RX5500 XT) in his pc with the and it worked like a charm. I cant find anything in the bios that would cause this and im out of ideas! If anyone can help that would be great

The RX580 is fairly power hungry, are you sure the old machine has enough wattage? The 5500XT draws 150 Watts less if I remember correctly. The 1050 usually only draws around 75 Watts from the PCI-e slot, not needing the external power at all.
