RAM 2 v 4
Go to solution
Solved by Digideath,
4 sticks is harder to stabalize. Some motherboards struggle with the 4 sticks.
For example. Based on my own experience, if you have 4x8gb dimms that are rated at 3200mhz xmp. They don't run stable at 3200mhz because there are 4 of them. Instead you have to set them to 3000mhz to stabalize them. Where as if i use 2x16gb dimms (which im doing now), they will reach 3200mhz easily enough. Does that make any sense to you?
