nzxt kraken x53

Hello all,

I have had my nzxt kraken x53 for around 6 months now and it has never been very quiet. It always is ramping the fans up and down and to be honest I thought it would be silent compared to the normal cpu fan. I have a ryzen 3600 I only really play games like CIV 6 and RTS games but these fans will ramp up and down even if the PC is sitting idle.

 

Has anyone else had the same issue with their nzxt kraken x53 ? Should I look at alternatives for something that is more silent ?

Have you tried changing the fan profiles in BIOS? or if it has software. It's connected via PWM correct? just adjust the fan profile, easy fix.

Yeah everything is connected correctly and the next cam software is set to silent mode. Could it be a thermal paste issue or is it normal for the 3600 to run hot all the time ?
