Weird issue with volume control

Mark Kaine

So suddenly while playing RE3 I don't have any control over the volume anymore... the volume keys on my keyboard do nothing...

The weird part is that until a couple of hours ago it worked, and it also showed this little graphic where you can see what's the volume set at... this tends to disappear in games more or less randomly, weird but not a big issue - but now volume control doesn't work at all anymore while in game which *is* an issue...

I haven't actually restarted the pc yet, but the game several times, it's not changing... so does anyone know what this could be?

I didn't change any settings, and I'm playing in full screen with Nvidia DSR if that matters.

Uh... restart?

Tried, doesn't work. I also tried borderless and windowed... still not working.

Something is weird about this game and possibly with DSR... It works, it runs at 1440p, screen shots are 1440p, but when I record it's "1920x1060"... lol.

There's probably a connection to the weird volume keys bug, I just don't get why it started doing that randomly... 🤔

Also other games it works fine, even with DSR.
