So, a little update I guess. I managed to reset the memory and cores before a crash and now with a oc of 3.8 cpu 1550mhz gpu and 1600mhz ram (effectively 3200mhz) it worked fin for the couple hours I played arma 3. Thanks for the help bro

I have a hp pavilion with a 2200g, I used ryzen master for ocing, the mobo does not allow for it in the bios, anyway, background info, I oced all cores to 3.9 but it was too hot and froze during cinnebench, succes at 3.7 and 3.8 though. Then the ram (2666 1x8 samsung stick) was oced from 1333 to 1667, stable, the apu gfx went from 1100 to 1350, stable, but reported as 1340 in ryzen master after being applied, even though I set it as 1350, anyway, I wanted high performance in single thread for cinnebench, so disabled 2 cores, bumped to 3.95, stable and worked, then 4.1, now as soon as I open ryzen master and press the accept warning, I get a bsod, plz help quickly

That chip is low bin silicon. Getting 4.1ghz from it would be a pipe dream without at least good cooling and somewhere along the lines of 1.45v or more. 3.8ghz-3.9ghz would be an average overclock aiming for less than 1.4v if it'll hack it.

I realised, but I still need help, I've seen people say that u should uninstall ryzen master in safe mode, but will that reenable the cores

edit: and does it even work

I can't open it is y, idk if it is or isn't removing the oc, and idk if 2 cores are diabled

So when you start the PC, it probably applies the overclock. But you don't have to uninstall it I don't think.

You can try boot in safe mode. Go to MSconfig or system configuration. click services tab and uncheck Ryzen Master. That will get you back into normal windows so you can uninstall it. It may even open and not apply the settings, but I'm not entirely sure.

Ik all the stuff abt building, and some abt overclocking, just not overclocking with ryzen master, but Ik nothing abt software and everything like that beyond absolute basics, if you give a short walk through or link a good walk through, that would be incredibly helpful, I have learnt now also not to oc the crappy prebuilt designed for word and emails.

OK, so when you boot, spam F8 button like you would to go into bios.

Then, select boot windows in safe mode.

In the search bar lower left by the start button, type in MSConfig or System configuration and open the app.

You select the services tab and check the box, hide all microsoft services.

Uncheck Ryzen Master apply and save settings restart.

Ryzen Master will not turn on with windows, and you will have the necessary services running to remove ryzen master.

I do not think you can fully uninstall Ryzen master in safe mode, but I've never tried it. (haven't had too)

Crap, you have W10.

While still in safe mode, open task manager and open start up tab. Highlight Ryzen master and click disable bottom right button.

OK, so R.M. has written to the bios. The board has saved the core configuration, but not the Cpu overclock.

The overclock is BSOD'ing windows, it's in the start up somewhere.

Any ways you can try this too.

Go to Windows settings

Go to Sign in options. (type in search if not on the list)

Slide restart apps to off.

idk about the windows, but it does bsod when I try to open ryzen master, I'm just screwed as this is the family pc and my parents gonna be hella mad if the pc stops working, if I can't play games or atleast play them poorly, it's fine, just need the pc to work normal

ok, just exited safe mode, normal windows 10 seems fine, the core clocks are normal, just keeps jumping from 2.8-3.6 and somewhere in between, which means it's reset to the boost, so only the cores are off, so the pc works

I would remove Ryzen Master from the PC.

If it's mom's PC, you better not push your luck any more lol.

yh well, this time ryzen master opened fine and I was abt to change the settings and got that, if I'm fast enough, should I try to renable the cores or lower the memory to stock speed, mabye reseat it as last resort, as my parents are around and will notice if I'm opening up the home pc

I cannot give you any more suggestions because it's not your PC.

Basically, I don't want to have any responsibility when your luck runs out and you brick either the Operating system or the bios. (Yes overclocking with software can brick a bios, I've done it many times on many boards. It's not fun.)

yh ok, that's fair, one question tho, it says memory management when it fucks up, in a couple weeks I'll be able to buy new memory, so should I do that as a fix?

Edit: also, u won't be held accountable, I've been saving for a pc build and if I do brick the entire system, guess I'll be building sooner then expected, just it'll be an athlon 3000g build

Well obviously you have already gotten to know your PC. And it's very limited capabilities.

3.8ghz and settle there.

If the board is an A320 chipset and Ryzen Master overclocks it, please take note of the Ryzen Master version you have and save it. Also, never update the bios either. You will loose the OC capability in Ryzen master. At least that's what happened to mine.

u have been a great help, I'm going to leave it alone for now just to clear my head, I guess I may just lower my dream expectations and try to build a budget pc when black friday comes around, in the mean time only game on my ps4, ik, pretty stupid to oc the cpu, I am able to add a 2400g, so if I can find a cheap one, I'll put it in and get the cores back, but final opinion is just if I should try new ram

The cores are still disabled? You cannot reenable them in bios or ryzen master?
