Hey guys,

So I recently was able to get an ASUS TUF 3090 and I'm having a bunch of trouble after it was installed into my system.  When I go to boot either from the onboard mobo button or the connected case power button, the graphics card lights up and then clicks off without the system going into boot.  The strange part is my motherboard retains the power as the RGB on it lights up but when turned on it shuts back off after a second with no RAM lighting up at all.  I recently upgraded from a Titan Xp to this so i doubted compatibility was the issue but after reading online apparently my motherboard might not support the card.  I have also used two different non daisy chained power cables as I read this was important for proper power delivery. Im just really hoping the card does not need to be RMA'd as god knows how long it is until i'm able to get another one.

Any more info I can gladly supply, ty for the help!

Build:
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Intel i9-10900X
Asus TUF 3090 OC
Trident Z RGB 32gb
Phanteks 1000w Platinum PSU
Asus Prime X299-A II
NZXT Kraken X62 cooling

sometimes rtx 3090 gives some spike in power consumption so going to 1600 watt psu maybe solve this problem. i wan't to know which gen of pci -express you are using.

Pls Mark a solution as a solution, would be really helpful.

BTW pls correct me, iam really stoobid at times.

Interesting, Ill try and find a larger one to give it a shot.  Im using pcie 3.0 as it is what comes with the board.  Ive looked for boards with pcie 4 but it seems as its exclusive to AMD processors at the moment.
